An alternative to stitch binding, perfect binding is a cheap and cost-effective way to create professional looking publications including books and catalogues. Perfect binding consists of milling the binding edge of your interior pages and then affixing this to your chosen cover.
Pixartprinting provides a wide range of customisation options enabling clients to create personalised products each with their own paper type and cover designs. If you require other forms of binding please visit our stapled, stitch binding, or spiral binding pages for more information.
Perfect Bound Publications
In order to create optimum perfect bound publications each project requires a minimum of 40 sides. Please note that when entering the amount of sides for each document each page consists of 2 sides. Pixartprinting provides perfect binding for three publications sizes: 21cm x 29.7cm (A4), 14.8cm x 21cm (A5) and 21cm x 14.8cm (A5 horizontal).
Once you have chosen the dimensions of your publication and the number of sides it should contain you can customise your project using our online form. Pixartprinting offers the ability to have alternative paper types for the interior pages and the cover, and all projects are created using PUR glue in order to assure durability and longevity.
Perfect Binding Services
As well as the paper type for the cover and interior pages, customers can personalise their projects through selecting various paper weights. For those looking to create durable projects we advise choosing a paper type for the cover with a gsm of between 250 and 300 in order to protect against wear and tear. Each paper type also comes with specific lamination finishes meaning that projects will have a bespoke look and feel.
Placing your order for perfect bound publications only takes a few simple steps using our online form, and once completed orders can be monitored via an online Pixartprinting account.
